Airport – Kumai – Proboscis Tour – Rimba Lodge (L, D)

On arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service with our tour guide then direct transfer to Kumai, Onboard, crossing Kumai river in approximately 15 minutes to reach Sekonyer river, then cruiseup Sekonyer river to reach National Park. Lunch will be served on board by our own cook. At 16.30 we continue our tour to observe Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. Proboscis monkeys are an endemic monkey that can be seen only in Borneo. Direct transfer to Rimba Lodge for check in. Dinner on board and Overnight Rimba Lodge.

Rimba Lodge – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey – Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)

After breakfast, boating up to reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while take some pictures. Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating up to Camp Leakey. Camp Leakey is the highlight of National Park.You will be passing by the black river which is full of wildlife within such as many kind of birds, primates, fish, also crocodiles. Lunch will be served by our own cook with special various food. On arrivalin Camp Leakey, you will visit IC (Information Center) to see all work of DR. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here start from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until 14.00, trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding, enjoy the time till 16.00 back to the boat and boating down direct to Rimba Lodge. Dinner on board and overnight in Rimba Lodge.
 

Rimba Lodge – Kumai – Airport (B)

Morning breakfast at the lodge, then boating down the river back to Kumai. Direct transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. TOUR END
